Die Verdediging van die Kaapkolonie tot 1795Uit die vroegste geskiedenis van die Kaapkolonie blyk dit dat die verdediging die taak van blankes sowel as nie-blankes was. Die verdediging was nie aileen teen buitelandse mededingers gerig nie maar, was ook deeglik gemik teen plaaslike vyande.
