The Second World War was the "finest hour" in the history of coast artillery in South Africa. It was a period of hectic activity and phenomenal growth but it was also, fortunately, a great anticlimax because South Africa was spared an attack on her coastal cities and towns by enemy warships and aircraft.Downloads
