Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies used in writing a manuscripts

2025-10-08

As AI tools do not meet the requirements for authorship or inventorship due to the absence of human intellectual contribution and accountability, authors are always accountable for the accuracy, integrity and originality of their work, which includes any content generated through the use of AI tools. Generative AI tools may not be listed as an author on any scholarly work. Use of such tools must be acknowledged and included in a separate section of the manuscript submitted for review, e.g. Large Language Models (LLM) such as ChatGPT was used to improve the language and readability of this manuscript as English is not our first/native language.
